   DET: Jahmyr Gibbs still isn't practicing

   Gibbs was present but out of uniform again Monday with what the Lions are calling minor back discomfort, against a backdrop of contract talks. Dan Campbell says he's “not even sweating” the absence, but the reps still aren't happening and camp is moving without him.

   SF: Ricky Pearsall is done for the season

   San Francisco placed him on injured reserve Saturday and he'll undergo season-ending PCL surgery on his right knee. That's a full year gone, and the snaps have to go somewhere in a receiver room that was already thin.

   KC: Xavier Worthy avoided the worst with the shoulder

   He left Saturday's practice hurt, but it's being called a sprain rather than anything structural and Andy Reid put him a day or two from returning. A scare that resolves this quickly in early August barely registers by September.

   GB: Tucker Kraft is off the PUP list

   Green Bay activated him Friday and he took individual drills in his first practice since the ACL tear. It's individual work only for now, but being on the grass in July is a materially different summer than the one PUP implied.

   NE: A.J. Brown dislocated a thumb and kept going

   He popped the thumb during Monday's practice and worked through the rest of the session. The connection people were fretting about has also started to show up — Drake Maye opened Friday's 11-on-11 period with a long touchdown to him.

   PIT: Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowdle are splitting it evenly

   The two have shared first-team running back reps across Pittsburgh's opening practices with no separation either way. A committee still this even once camp is underway rarely leaves a true workhorse on either side of it.

   SEA: Jadarian Price took the first snaps of the scrimmage

   Price got the opening first-team backfield reps in Seattle's first full-team scrimmage Thursday. That room was wide open a week ago, so this is the first real signal to come out of it.

   CLE: Duce Staley says the sky's the limit for Quinshon Judkins

   Cleveland's running backs coach went out of his way to praise him Friday. Coaching staffs talk up their guys every August, but the job waiting in front of this one is the genuine article.

   MIN: Kyler Murray is still splitting first-team reps

   He and J.J. McCarthy continued to share the ones on Thursday with no sign of the job being settled. An unresolved quarterback competition into August is a problem for every pass catcher in that building.

    NO: Chris Olave is handling full team drills

    He took part in the first 11-on-11 session of camp as his ramp-up continues. Clearing team periods on schedule is the box that actually needed checking for him this summer.
